Gender Ideology
Supporting and instructing students in the midst of gender confusion ideology.
The condition of gender dysphoria and a wider agenda of transgender ideology prevalent in our culture pose some unique challenges for Catholic educators. This presentation will take a brief look at some terms and definitions to help us understand the question. It will remind us of our faith in the goodness of God’s creation and sexuality, along with some challenges we face in our fallen human condition. It seeks to explore how to support students in understanding and living the truth, while supporting them in times of confusion. Finally, support for teachers and parents in the face of the distortions of culture will be explored.

Nurtured Heart Approach
This is a two-session breakout. Session 3 is a continuation of session 2.
The Nurtured Heart Approach® is a relationship based methodology meant to help all children flourish. It is used worldwide in schools, homes, foster care, therapy settings, and more. This introduction class will be an overview of The 3 Stands™ and will briefly cover why conventional methods of parenting and teaching often backfire, how to help children channel intensity in a positive way, and why building Inner Wealth™ is so important.
The Nurtured Heart Approach aligns well with the mission of the JP2 Schools to teach the total person and foster the following of Christ. NHA supports any other techniques used in the classroom.
